Using 360 cameras to take 360 photos saves lot of time and its highly preferred compared to taking 360 photos in Mobile and its mostly due to the stitching issues which happen while taking in mobile.
Let us see how to take 360 Photos in 360 cameras. I use Ricoh Theta V 360 camera for taking 360 photos and upload it to Street View. We can connect Ricoh Theta V to our device and take 360 Photos directly in Street View but I prefer taking 360 photos in Ricoh Theta V and do edits for hiding the uni stand from 360 photos using Google Snapseed Application and then upload it to Street View.
Install Ricoh Theta Application in your mobile. Turn on wifi on your device and connect your Ricoh Theta V to your mobile. Open Ricoh Theta Application.
On the bottom right corner you can see Ricoh Theta logo, click it. It will show the 360 view of your camera in your mobile device. Click now to take 360 photos. from your Ricoh Theta V using mobile.
Now the 360 photos will be stored in your Mobile device. After taking number of 360 photos you want, you can disconnect your Ricoh Theta from your device and open Street View Application. The Reason for disconnecting Ricoh Theta before opening Street View Application is that Street View ask you to take 360 photos directly from Street View Camera.
After opening Street View Application, in the bottom right corner you will see camera icon, click on it and select second option which says Import 360 photos. Browse your device and select 360 photos which you took using Ricoh Theta and import it to Street View.
Now, you can see those photos getting listed in the Private tab. You can add Map listings to those 360 photos and can publish it to Street View.
