If you use Google Street View Application to take 360 Photos in Mobiles and upload it to Google Maps and sometimes the stitching is not proper and searching for ways to overcome this and to take great quality photos then this post is right for you.
I use 360 camera to take 360 photos but initially I was also using Street View Application to take 360 photos and publish it in Street View and I also had the difficulty in getting a proper stitched 360 photos. Holding the phone still and taking 360 photos with utmost attention helped me get good quality 360 photos in Street View itself.
I got to know about GCam(Google Cam Application) and installed it on my mobile for taking normal photos as taking normal photos in GCam gives great quality and actual photos compared to the device camera application.
I noticed that GCam has the feature to take 360 photos also and I started using it. Then I was surprised by the wonderful stitching which GCam does when taking 360 photos using GCam Application.
From then on, I decided that whenever I have to take 360 photos using mobiles, I will take it in GCam Application and then import those 360 photos in Street View and publish it in Street View. Try taking 360 photos in GCam and you can see how great the stitching is in GCam.
